It's no secret, my favorite room is the dining room. I love decorating it for all of the holidays and even, just cuz.
One of things I didn't like though was the area rug under the table.
Oh, it is pretty and I love the style but, the size was too small, especially in our new house where the dining room is much bigger. It never felt like the table was anchored right.
So, when the nice folks at Mohawk Home contacted me a couple months back asking if I'd do a rug review of course I jumped at the chance!
I chose the 8 x 10 Simpatico rug for its neutral colors. Plus, I wanted to keep the theme of pattern in the room without being too matchy-matchy with the window treatments. And look how much better the larger size looks! Squeee! Yes, I am in love!

What I also learned is that this particular rug is made from the Permastrand fiber (aka Kid Friendly Fiber). Being that I am using it under a dining room table and with the winter weather, and Max's wet paws, this is a good choice for us! It is easy care and easy to clean, 100% Polypropylene, has permanent soil protection and, it is a tremendous value! And BONUS! Soft and comfy under your feet!
