I started with a vintage lacy trimmed doily from Mr. B's grandmother.
I have been wanting to use my collection of Hazel Atlas luncheon plates and cups forever and this seemed to be the perfect vignette for them to be out on display.
The crystal clear beads on the plates fool many into thinking they are from the Candlewick collection.
Even the cups fool many with the beaded handles.
My newly shined up silver plated sugar bowl holds sweet sugar cubes for your tea.
My new to me silver tea pot is perfectly at home in this setting.
No afternoon tea is complete without some finger sandwiches.
Little tastes of egg salad and cucumber sandwiches with ripe red strawberries for pops of color.
I received this beautiful red canning jar from a dear blogging friend some time ago and it was such a pretty addition to my centerpiece. Especially filled with marked down flowers from the grocery store!
Why they were marked down I don't know! Look how sweet they are!
They make me long for Spring!
A feminine setting for an afternoon tea party. All that is missing is you! Tell me, one lump or two?
Like what you see?
