Easter Bunny Guild

Once I had emptied out my Easter bins
(yes, they have now grown to two bins <sigh>)
Mr. B stood back and exclaimed that it looked like all of the Easter Bunnies had come to gather at our house!

I had to laugh and agree.  So, I hereby present to you the official

"Annual Conveyance Of The Exalted Easter Bunny Gild"
(aka ACotEBG)
Easter Decor
Most of the honored attendees are on the buffet.

Several new members were added this year.
One being the dapper fellow with his lovely blue bow tie.

And, another, his lovely sister.
She is a bit shy so she is sitting safely in an apothecary jar
with her precious purple flower.
They arrived via Kirkland's.
I had gone there several weekends ago with
Mr. B's mother and she bought the same two bunnies.

All of the other bunnies are members in long standing and were formally introduced to you last year.

A sweet family of sheep also were inducted into the Guild as they share a love of eating grass and dandelions with the bunnies

Over on Max's table I set up some of the most valued (in my mind) of the ACotEBG in the wine crate.

Also invited to join were another brother and sister duo.

Both carrying vases on their backs to hold Springtime flowers.

I hope you've enjoyed this little glimpse into the inner circle of the secret society of this much loved group as much as I love hosting them each year.

I can't wait to see who, or what, is introduced next year!

World Market Easter Table

I am so pleased to be a part of a blog hop this week, Sharing is Caring, hosted by Monika over at Life With Lovebugs

Sharing is Caring Blog Hop

We have teamed up to bring you lots of spring and Easter inspiration.
You can visit all of the great links at the bottom of this post.

Today I am sharing with you my Easter Table using some of my own items as well as those I got on my recent shopping trip.
You may remember a few weeks back I was invited to the grand re-opening of the Denver World Market.

I showed some of the lovelies that I purchased and promised to show you how they were used.

Of course they were used to set a beautiful Easter table.
No tablecloth, I wanted the place settings and centerpiece to be the stars.

I started with the off white lacy placemats. I then layered on a robin egg blue charger I bought a few months ago, on clearance, from Kirkland's. Next came another pale blue salad plate from Home Goods.  And the star, a pretty bowl from World Market with a bunny with his egg hidden inside.

My Rogers silverplate flatware makes another appearance.

The napkin and napkin ring are from World Market. I love the crisp white of the flowers on the napkin ring.

The centerpiece, with the exception of the flowers, are also from World Market.

Using the pale pink and green roses from my St. Patrick's Day table, I hit the floral clearance at the grocery store once again and found some other brighter flowers to fill in the white urn.  I'm tellin' you, those clearance flowers last weeks!
I have been wanting a vase like this forever and was so happy to finally find the one I like at World Market.
I may have to go get another one and use them both on the buffet.

I also purchased a few of these pretty teal glass jars for candles. I plan on using them outside too this summer.

Set on Easter candle wreaths.

The little speckled eggs mimic some of the colors in the flowers.

I am so pleased with the way my Easter table turned out.
I like that it is fitting for Easter and for Spring.

Be sure and check out all of the other great spring ideas at the hop.

Easter Decor 2012

Oh my goodness!
Where is this year going?
It's already April?
Oh please 2012, please slow down!

When I looked at the calendar
and saw that Easter
was next week
I knew I needed to get a move on
and get the holiday decor out of the bins!

 Do you notice anything different?
How about now?
Yep, I changed out the lampshades on the buffet!
These were found at my favorite designer boutique,
WalMart!
Ha!
$9.99 each to give the room
a lighter, Springier (spell check took it so it must be a word?) look!

I placed some of my most favorite
thrifted and gifted Easter decor on the buffet.
The plants were received
when dad passed away
in February.
You may remember this post when I purchased
The taller green and pink Mr. & Mrs.bunnies
back in January.
Well...several weeks ago I was back at
Goodwill and ran across
the third member of the family.
I named him Little Boy Blue Bunny LOL.
I think they are quite the lovely family
and I am so happy to have reunited them.

The Fitz & Floyd plate and pitcher
were a gift and I always
love being able to have them
on display.
Just look at that sweet face!
Could you not just squee??

Take a look at this find!
I found this big beauty on clearance
at Pier 1!
75% off, so I paid under $5.00!!
I must have bunny fever.
I love seeing them in the front yard,
at thrift stores,
at Home Goods
and at Ross.
Especially if they are
priced right like these were

Max, once again, let me do a bit a of decor
on the table that
he hides under during
thunderstorms.
The sheep family is from Hobby Lobby last year.
The feathery egg tree
was made, by me, several years ago.
I just took a pink boa, clearanced from Valentine's Day,
hot glued it to a foam tree form
and then hot glued some plastic
Easter Eggs to it.
The fun ceramic bunnies with
eggs are from the Dollar Tree.

Whew! So, I got the Easter decor done
before Easter!
Now, I just need to get the
table set for Easter dinner...
Before Easter!
