Pfister Faucet Review & Giveaway!

Pfister Faucet Review - Kathe With An E
One of the benefits of moving into a newer home is that there isn't really much to do in regards any updating. Oh some paint here and there maybe and doing those little things that make it "our" home but, nothing major really needs to be done.

Of course, after we had been in our new home for a few months, there were some things that did bug us. One issue was the faucet in the kitchen. It's not that it didn't work well, it's just that is was not our style. We are simpler folk and the setup that came with the house was, in Mr. B's words, too frilly and fussy. So, when the opportunity arrived in my email box from Friends of Pfister to do a faucet review I seriously jumped at the chance!!!

One of my requirements in a kitchen faucet is that it be a gooseneck. When it comes time for me to fill a large pot with water for canning, or when Mr. B is brewing beer, neither of us wants to fight the pot or the faucet to get it filled! I had a choice of many faucets and it was so hard to choose. Just to share a few of my faves:

To check out their selection for yourself, head on over to Pfister!

Every fixture in our house is a Tuscan Bronze so the finish wasn't hard for us to choose. After much discussion, we both agreed on this one:

The Wheaton. Nice high neck, not too ornate, simple and traditional,
just like us!

Now, don't let this picture fool you.  Mr. B is not a plumber but, he said the installation was super easy!  The hardest part of the project was taking everything out from under the sink and removing the old faucet.
(I was, thankfully, away visiting my grandson when he installed it!)

The old faucet required 4 holes but, the Pfister did not.  No worries!  It came with a deckplate that covered the unneeded holes!

I am just loving how sleek and, well, pretty it looks!

I was iffy on the pull down sprayer at first but, the Wheaton features an advanced docking system - one quick snap guarantees the spray head stays securely in place after every use.SOLD!

Now for the true test!  Did it meet our requirements for easily filling large pots?

Why, yes it did!
